Unleashing Domain Name Power

Sometimes revisiting what you already have is important.  Time, distance, education, experience, and circumstances may give you a new perspective on a web site or domain name that you may not have developed or may have only minimally developed.

When I acquired the domain name DomainNamePower.com years ago, I had two main uses in mind: to use it for a domain name registration reseller site and possibly for a book I would write about domaining.  I liked the keywords and the name seemed appropriate for my purposes.  Besides, the best .com domain name keyword domains were already registered, and my budget for the name was small.

So, I have used the domain for my reseller site and still keep open the possibility of using the site to promote a book that I write... but now, years later, the name appeals to me and begs for my usage of it for so much more...

I now view the domain as an umbrella for all of my domaining interests and activities.  The name is broad enough to ultimately include many topics, while enabling me to address and link to specific narrower areas within domaining, such as with my Fractional Domaining Blog.  And by launching this "Domain Name Power" Blog, I am able to reinforce my personal and business branding while establishing a broader venue for sharing my thoughts, news, ideas, resources, opportunities, etc. about many aspects of domaining.

I am excited that this broader platform will enable me to offer increased interaction with, and value for, the domaining community.  As my new Domain Name Power slogan states, I look forward to helping to "Put the POWER of Domain Names to Work for YOU! (tm)"
